A to Z of MS MS Society

The MS Society, founded in 1953, is the largest and the oldest of the UK MS charities. It is a membership organisation and has a network of more than 350 branches around the country.

MS Society activities include:

• campaigning on multiple sclerosis related issues
• a telephone helpline (0808 800 8000)
• funding MS research projects
• providing grants (financial assistance) to individuals affected by MS
• support for carers

The MS Society's magazine MS Matters is sent out to members.
